Finally a VACATION !!!

We decided LAST minute to go on a vacation and when I say last minute I mean like we woke up in the morning on Tuesday and the kids had smelled like sunscreen from the night before (they got into it when they were supposed to be in bed sleeping and decided to use a whole new bottle on EVERYTHING in the room) and I was talking to Brundle about how I just love the smell of sunscreen because it reminds me of Lake Powell one of our families fav. place to vacation and I said its to cold to swim right now but we should go tomorrow for the week cause it was the start of Bryce's week off and so I called Bryce to tell him my idea and he said he would rather go somewhere else and to look because it was the end of National Parks week that week so I decided to go to Moab and go to Delicate Arch, well I went as far as I booked us a hotel and everything but then for some reason I thought of going to Washington to see Bryce's sister that just moved there and called Bryce to see what he thought of that idea his exact words were "are you nuts"? "OK" he didn't even wait for me to answer if I'm nuts so he called his sister and she happened to have the week off of work too so we packed our bags and left for Anacortes Washington Wed. morning. It was SO much fun and SO beautiful I think I took over 2,000 pictures HAHA. Here are some of the great things we got to do while we where there....
Right when we got there we got to go to this great park and play and get some wiggles out, then we went to another park on the beach and had a BBQ. While there we got to see a seal up close the kids just loved it we also got to throw rocks into the Ocean and Brittin happened to step in the way of Brundles rock and BAM broken nose! The next day we went into Seattle while Bryce's sisters family went into Canada to see the temple there (we wish we could have gone but since we didn't have passports we couldn't go, so next time for sure) In Seattle we went to the ZOO, The Museum of Flight, The Children's Museum, The Space Needle and drove past the Pier (it was raining or we would have walked around it) The next day we went on a Ferry ride to the San Juan island, Friday harbor, while there we got to see a light house and a Lime kiln, we stood on the rocks as the waves from the ocean crashed up on us, On Sunday we got to go to church and then we came home and napped, while they were all napping my kids wanted to watch a movie so I layed on the bed and was watching them and we had had the fire place on all night the night before and turned it off at 7am it was 3 pm so I figured it was OK for Jersey to sit by it and she climbed up it and burned her hands BAD I feel like the worst mom ever! So we had to get her some cream to put on it and then went to the beach to play for a few hrs until dinner. Sadly Monday we had to go home. We are for sure planning another trip it is a beautiful place and we still had lots to do just no time to do it! It was nice to go and have our own personal tour guide they knew so much about things and where able to show us all the cool things of the island! So there are so many pictures I had to do them in two posts enjoy!! I tried to get them in order but some are mixed up a little

4.23.10 Friday

We left for our fun day in Seattle early and they all fell back asleep after 5 min of being in the car poor kids we woke them up early every day we were there
