Every year we (Bryce) stand in line at 5 AM at Soldier Hallow to buy a Christmas tree permit. Then we go for a hike find our (Mine) dream tree and chop it down, take it home and make it beautiful! We enjoy this tradition as a family because we get to spend all day together and doing something that will be fun for all of us! We usually go with all of the Hoovers but this year we couldn't go when they could so we went by our selves we packed a lunch some hot chocolate and off we went!

We found it!!! We started a tradition years ago to let all the kids help dad cut down our tree they love it and then it makes the tree that much more special for them.
